La Maga--Songs of Immigrants & ICE

These songs, from different perspectives and both sides of the law, were born from the borderlands — from the shadows where families vanish, where children sleep under foil blankets, and where hope is held like a smuggled flame. They speak of the journey north with dust in the mouth and love in the heart, of the knock at the door in the dead of night, of cages and prayers and names unspoken. In the spirit of folk protest, these songs carry the ache of exile and the fire of justice. They are witness, elegy, and resistance — a way to sing for the voiceless and remember what it means to be human.
